Methodology
Every numbered line of the current schedule is placed under its section through the chapter table; six-digit numbers are counted as subheadings, the level shared by every country that uses the Harmonized System and the level a shipment is declared at abroad, and ten-digit numbers as the United States' own tariff lines, with the share of those lines whose general rate is Free. Sections are listed in the nomenclature's order.
